n Egypt, the authorities of the Red Sea governorate decided to close all the beaches of Hurghada after the death of a Russian man as a result of a shark attack.
On June 8, it became known that a Russian citizen died from a shark attack in Hurghada.
According to the witnesses of the incident, at first the shark bit the leg of 23-year-old Vladimir Popov, and later took the young man underwater.
It is said that the shark was able to swim closer to people due to the lack of protective nets in the water.
