The soldier died on the way to the military hospital (“Muratsan”) at around 16:00. According to the source, high-ranking officers of the RA Military Police and the RA Ministry of Defense General Staff arrived at the hospital, who are clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
According to the source, the deceased was taken to the hospital from the Nubarashen firing range (polygon) with a gunshot wound.
He is 19-year-old Narek Hakobyan. A criminal investigation has been initiated into the incident at the Garrison Investigation Department of the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
Whether the incident was a murder, an accident, or a suicide is being determined.
